This is an art museum dedicated to the well-known couple artists, Genso Okuda, a master of Nihonga (Japanese-style painting), and his wife, Sayume Okuda, a doll artist. In addition to permanent exhibits of the couple’s more representative works, a wide range of feature exhibitions are also held.

Jusaburo Tsujimura
Doll Museum
This is the only permanent museum in the world to exhibit works by Jusaburo Tsujimura, a doll maker, the pride of Japan.
On the third Sunday of every month, you can view puppet dances passed on directly by Jusaburo and performed by Kazuo Kawasaki under the supervision of Atelier Jusaburo.
※The museum is closed Wednesday every week and November 5 - 9.
The admission ticket for the Okuda Genso Sayume Art Museum (permanent exhibition) or the Jusaburo Tsujimura Doll Museum (permanent exhibition) is included in the travel costs.
